"WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION" displaying randomly

I have this strange problem. I'm building a website on the newest release of WB 2.8.2. It's a multiple language site, so I have a language menu link (DE, EN) as root, which redirects to the first subpage.

The website works fine for some time, then it switches by itself to the message "WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION Please check back soon...". I found out, that if I chage the language setting of the root menu link from Deutsch to English and back, the site appears again. But then an hour later it again on ""WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION", without touching anything.

Is there any way to overdrive/turn off the message?

If you are working in the backend, you will have a language set (use for the backend).
Make sure that language is the same as the default language of your website.

If the first page of your site is English, and your user-setting is German, you will get this message if you view the root of your site.
Alternatively (if you are a windows user), use Firefox to work in the admin and IE/Chrome to view the frontend.
