I am totally stumped.  When I log on, admin/start/index.php loads but the only option is "Preferences" no pages, no settings nothing.

how do I get my interface back?  What ells it what to load?

Thanks,
JB

Make a new installation somewhere else and copy the the data of the first user-account over this installation ... that should fix it.

cheers

O.K.  I created a new install in a directory, the back end loads fine.  I took the database and dumped it to the install on the main site, it did not fix the back end issue.  I tried putting the pages, admin, include, framework folders on the main site, it still did not fix the back end.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
JB

Are you maybe using a wrong user-account (one without any permission in WebsiteBaker)?

Shouldn't dumping the Database from the new install add that user?
Or do I need to change that somewhere else?

I can not see from here, what user-accounts you have ... it should, but if you have more than 1 ... the behavior is definitely as if you are using a user-account with limited (no) privileges ... therefor, examine the DB and check please.

Klaus,
You were right.  I had been looking at privileges for one of the modules rather than overall.  That fixed it.  Thanks.

Any suggestions on keeping hackers out?

Also I posted a question before about if there is a way to have visitors sign up to receive an e-mail news letter and I have not gotten a response.  Is that because there isn't a way?

Thanks,

Make sure you have a secure Server ... use hard to guess passwords and always different ones. If few other people are administrating WB with you, protect admin folder with .htaccess ... the basic stuff that should be done on any server Wink

Not without extra modules / applications ...

Is there anywhere I can get info on which  modules/applications I would need to make this work?

Thanks,
