I got this email.... so what to do with it? (translate with google)

design:

Colours are a personal matter, so there I do not address the matter.

Available screen efficiently categorize, why not 30% for a header
use the header is really only for the owner of the website
interesting, users usually experience as a nuisance especially when there
Flash still in consumed.

It is quite possible to develop a website in width it is
with the width that the visitor has available. today
everyone has a widescreen monitor, so the limit to a number of pixels
is an outdated thing. Etc.etc.

technique:

The generated source code looks bad, or that the system or
by improper use of this system, I can not so
view.

Generally use a CMS to separation in design, data and
functionality to make and that's a good thing, because one of
independently of the other things that can be changed. a renewed
design example is not a problem.

In the source code become happy, interspersed with HTML and Script STYLE (even
initializations) elements, bad, bad, bad!

 huh

I do not see any comment about websitebaker here?

Headers and widths of a website are not done by a CMS. It is done by the template developer.

About sourcecode readablity... Just ask him to explain the source of www.google.nl  smiley
Sourcecode is for the browsers to understand, it is not meant to be human readable.

Or microsoft.com, or hp.com or.....

I'm with Ruud on this one.

BTW Without any link to the site, or another site with that template, a real opiniion about the generated code is hard.

Websitebaker does not generate good or bad code by itself.
Its up to you, what code WB generates.

That is exactly what WB does.

with a first sight i found some HTML mistakes from template.

inside the element <div id="links"> :
the image tags are not closed, missing />  and alternate text ( alt="" ) also.

inside the element <div id="leftcolumn"> :

<h1><a href="/cms">Miniwerktuigen.nl</a></h2>   <<<=== shall be </h1>
in follow there are some opening <p>-tags without their closing </p> counterparts.

These are simple syntax errors in the file /mytemplate/index.php  and easy to correct.
all other things of these site looks fine.

I do not talk about the design. This is the decision of customer and designer only.
