Woot!?!

I upgraded the wb from some 2.6 to 2.8.2 and now the addresses with ä and ö chars that were before a and o are now ae and oe

With a quite large site, this gives just way too much of broken links from another sites!
(and some internal links also because it didn't get to put those wblinks into images only)

So how to prceed ?! .htaccess with redirect of 302 would be nice if the page is not found with old url...

I think that the wb is going to wrong direction - too much and too many problems on the way. Keep it simple and running with no hassle

Did you really update straight from 2.6.0 to 2.8.2 ?

This is the case for a very long time now.
Minimum 2.7.0 as far as I remember.

What do you think how many pages are affected?

Have a look at this module.
You can ".htaccess" redirect to this module and forward to the correct page.

I remembered wrong, the backup sql of pre-upgrade says 2.7
(upgrade didn't accept this version without hack, because the if sentence had  >= "2.7.0")

Thank you both, the module is the on to see next.
I did w3c link checker but seems that my 404 page has also some problems now. There should not be many pages that are wrong - but finding all of them is the pain.
