Hello,

I am a novice and before trying Website Baker I created a site using Wordpress .

I followed the steps in the Install Guide. I simply uploaded the WB files from the folder into the root directory Public_html using Core FTP Lite. I did not make adjustments to the files. When I visited my website.info/public_html/ I got the Not Found message.

Should I not have made adjustments to the WB files? I can remember that when I used Wordpress that I had to edit the Config.php.new file before I could install Wordpress. The WB install guide does not mention this though.

Thank you for reading my message and I hope you can help me.

Greetings,

Roel.

PS

-the hosting company says that they support WB
-I already created a MySQL database with all privileges

What happens if you "just" call the domain without the "public_html"? Also, if you are dealing with a Unix / Linux system, file and folder names are case sensitive so "public_html" is not the same like "Publich_html" or "Public_HTML" (3 dirrerent folders for Unix!

cheers

if you start a new install, please rename config.php.new to config.php

Thanks Dietmar, I see some more green letters in the Wizard now!
