Hi

I have updated from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2.
I've got this problem:

When I try to add advanced permissions in the "add-user og add-group" I've got this error:

"Fatal error: Call to a member function print_footer() on a non-object in /data/www/www.naturefterskolen.dk/w/admin/groups/groups.php on line 190"

How to solve that problem?

Thank you Smiley

Hmm aha! I haven't seen the new sp1

To do so:

- Overwrite all existing files on server with the new sp1
- rename config.php. new to config.php
- run the upgrade.php script

Is that correct?

No..  never rename config.php.new for update !!!
It will destroy your existing settings in the current config.php!!

Rename is necessary on a brand new installation only.

Okay...

(To be sure...)

So:

- Overwrite all existing files on server with the new sp1
and then
- run the upgrade.php script

Leave the config.php.new (not necessary to upload it)

I have a big issue, maybe its discussed already... can someone help me, I am having an issue uploading to the media folder as a user (with access). Here is what my host is saying:

The permissions of the directories within the public_html were incorrect. Using 777 is insecure and the server will not allow anything with that to execute.

The CMS is uploading, but only when directories are given rwx to everyone, which is very insecure. When uploading via the CMS, it's also setting the owner/group to nobody/nobody, which is also very insecure. I recommend that you contact the CMS developers so they can resolve these issues.

Please help...
