Hi,
I am using the drag n drop module and permanently get this message:
"You browser doesn't have Flash, Silverlight, Gears, BrowserPlus or HTML5 support"

I found another discussion on this in the forum, but this was at early implementation of the module and everything seemed to be right after some corrections.

Could it be that this has to do with my version 2.8.2? I just started with  WB and found out that I started with the latest and greatest release just a couple of weeks old. So maybe not all modules are up to date yet?
(There are other such occasions in my installation, but I'll start step by step...)

Kind regards and many thanks to any help.

Hi Benny,

your assumption could be right. Is it this module here you are using?

cheers

Don't search the problem somewhere in WB...

Simply read the error messages with open mind...

This module needs one of this browser extensions at least.

Darkviper,

oh yes, I read this message. I know there is at least flash in my FF5 browser and I'm not sure but expect HTML5 to be there.
Anyways: sarcastically it does work sometimes when I reload the page or call other pages of wb. THAT should be absolutely impossible if none of the services is supported...

Any suggestions on this?

Benny

No Benny,
I have no explanation for this strange behavior.
It could be a small error in the module itself, be in it's JS-API or also an interaction between different modules. Unfortunately I can not reproduce the behavior here to narrow down the error if necessary.

Maybe you have a look for the newest version. Test your Browser on author page

You find all runtimes

Hi Dietmar,
my browser does OK on that page. But this is not a WB module. Is there any way to easily integrate the latest version with the module (I'm not shy to touch code, but do not yet feel able to develop a wb module *g*)?

The runtime pages shows you which plugins are installed on your Browser.

I had a look in their forum and the Flash Player Version has to be up 10. In my point of view it's not a WB problem

Maybe to update to the newest jquery Plupload plugin. If jquery 1.6.2 is running on your page, pleas try tgo change it back to version 1.5.2. Not all older jquery plugins work with jquery 1.6.2

I get it. At least when drop on flash, I see the  same effect as on my page (picture shows instead of listing the filename) Unfortunately flash is used first as HTML5 stuff would work  sad

I guess this solves it, it's a problem of the plugin.
This seems to be solved...

Thanks for the help.
