Hi,
I've just installed WB282 and I have a problem.
In the Settings section, I try to modify a few parameters, and the system sends me back a red box, so it's an error but there's no message. I cannot upload themes and modules too from the backend, it's the same error.
Where can it come from ?
Regards

Well I've just resolved the problem by myself.
I've uploaded the config.php.back file back to the root to see the changes if any, and it works now.

So what is the use of this file really ?

Thanks

I have just applied the fixes but it doesn't change anything.

It's very weird, for example, I manage to get one theme uploaded, and then the second time it doesn't work. I have to disconnect from the back-end then reconnect and now maybe, the next upload will work but it's not sure.
I'm not sure what to do with the config.php.new in the fixes folder when the website is already installed ?

All I did was, once wb282 was installed, I've inserted via PhpMyAdmin the content (not the structure) of 3 tables: pages, sections, and wysiwyg from a previous wb281. I didn't run any upgrade. Maybe something's wrong but I don't know where.

Thanks

Hello,

Normally it is very easy to get WB 2.8.2 running fine when you follow the advices on the download page:

Quote
Caution: It is normal that after the publication of a version, in daily use again and again minor bugs or security holes and the like are discovered. Of course, we resolve them as quickly as possible. So now it's no need now to search for these fixes. We offer these as a download too, directly below the version package named as WebsiteBaker_2.8.2_ fixes_xxxx/xx/xx. This file is a small ZIP package that only contains all needed files that have changed since publication of the version.

It is strongly recommended that this archive will be extracted and uploaded immediately after uploading WebsiteBaker to the server and before calling the installation program!

Simply means:

1.) Download the Stable Package, unzip it and upload it to your Webspace.
2.) Download the fixed files Package, unzip it and upload it to your Webspace.
3.) Now run the installer.

In the Settings section, I try to modify a few parameters, and the system sends me back a red box, so it's an error but there's no message.

Please try the following: Use another Browser then Firefox, Login, go to Admin-Tools then to SecureForm Switcher and switch from SingleTab to MultiTab.

Did this solve your issue?
