Search results output problem

I'm having a problem with search results on my page. If I search for some certain word I get my result shown like this:

At first everything looks fine but when I klick on the result, it shows me that long link and then if I click on it, it takes me to the right page. (not all of them only some of them, some are fine!)

any idea?

That output is invalid. Please check the search template in your settings.

Hello I have tryed everything but still can't find where the problem is.

I've checked the template but looks normal. My page still looks messy after a search!

Did you check the search template in the Settings (in the WB admin)? I was not talking about the site template.

Yes I was talking about the search template in WB admin also, sorry I forgot to say.

Any idea what should I check or change there, to me everything looks normal and I didn't change anything it is still default.

I use version 2.8.2.RC4.

It was working fine some time ago.

Please upgrade to the latest version. RC4 is not really meant for use. I think your problems will be over after upgrading.

I just upgraded via upgrade-scipt.php but nohing has changed the problem still persists and It's still RC4. is there a way to upgrade to so that I dont loose anything and or is it better to downgrade to 2.8.1 or to upgrade to 2.8.2.RC6?

I meant of course that you upgrade to 2.8.2.RC6. The file upgrade-script.php is only for upgrading WB2.7 versions. You need to upload all files from RC6, and then run the reload modules function in Addons > Advanced. If that doesn't work, then run install.php of the News module in Addons > Modules > Advanced. In that case you will loose all existing News settings and news posts, becasue it will reset to clean default installation of the News module.

Ok, I will try that and let you know how it went! I already did make a backup of the existing site and SQL so I can still reupload the old one and start all over again.

I upgraded to RC6 all seems fine and working. I didn't have to run the reload modules function in Addons > Advanced. Did't find it.

It says that the version is now 2.8.2.RC6. But now the save doesn't work in the settings panel (when I press save it says only "BACK").

And the problem with search still persists.

I would really like to get this thing going, but something always has to go wrong.
