Author Topic: 2.2.3-c create page problem  (Read 1958 times)

Hi, I just discovered a little while ago this very nice CMS. I first installed version 2.2.2 which went fine; I had to first create a page and then I could see the site.

Then, when I noticed there is a new version I was confused by the install instructions and decided to just re-install the new 2.2.3 version.

This went ok, but when I try to create a new (the first) page - there is no option to do so.

The "pages" option only gives the "modify/delete" options, but there is no page to modify and I can not add the new one.

When I select "view" I get a page with:

"This is a fresh installation of websitebaker. If you are from the public please ignore this. If you are an admin you need to start adding pages from the admininstration."

The problem  is, how can I add new pages in the 2.2.3 version if the "pages" menu does not give me an option to do so?

Thanks for any help, maybe I am just missing something very obvious.

What version of 2.2.3? .3-c fixed a few known issues. Also, you may be interested to hear that I am going to release 2.2.4 today, which has a few bug fixes, as well as a couple of small additions. Cool

The problem was in 2.2.3-c; I re-installed 2.2.2 then did the upgrade and this worked. (I am testing on a PC Win XP)
