"Code" module

Just how do you use it? I thought you could put like HTML code in it and it would show it correctly on the page, but not for me... Whats its purpose then, or what am I missing here?

It's meant for php code.
If you want to enter html code, use the wysiwyg module and click the "<>" icon.
