I am planing to make a new module, based on the news module, but with some different features; specially made for making articles, tutorials or that kind. Pages with more content and better search-engine optimization.

Now I am asking:
What would be the best name?
articles? stories? something else?

And a second question: Does someone work on a similar module?

Hi John, Argos and Chio,

to prevent people from working on the same modules we created a divison  "upcoming items" at the AMASP-Project.

I would like to create one (or maybe two?) pages for these modules.

Please contact me.

I asked a question about this in another thread, John (pcwacht) and I have exchanged PMs on this, if there is interest in having this module set up so it can also manage the creation of article/book references in a semi-structured way (thinking about BibText and standardized APA-style reference structure here), this would make a great addition to WB's available modules.

@Chio

I think "Articles" is the best choice. Because it handles "articles".
The etymology of the old lat. word "articulus" means "unit, element". And furthermore, this word is understandable and used in the most european languages.

Good Idea BTW.

Just a quick update to let you know that I will soon be posting a new module, tentatively called "Publications", for your review.  Based on what I have seen to date from my programmer, I think it will be a good starting point for WB designers who need to set up a basic publication list, with easy data entry for publication name, description, type, file uploading and URL insertion capabilities, plus sorting options on the frontend.
