Module for creating an Online Directory?

Hello WB fans, I've scoured the AMASP and can't come to a decision so I'd like to put it to you. I'm looking to create a basic online directory of companies in my local area (an incredibly original idea, no?) and can't decide on a module to go with for the best results.

I've considered the option of creating categories as pages, sub-pages for companies and creating a user for them to login via the back-end and rights to edit that particular page. I could go a step further by customizing CKEditor to make it a bit more user friendly for the client and have WYSIWYG templates, but are there any modules out there that are more suitable than this method?

I think the Members Module by Chio (websitebaker.at) is the best bet for you!
