Is it allowed to remove the "Powered by websitebaker" Link from every site and only leave it in the imprint?

Nobody comes after you if you don't use it on your site, though its cool to show WebsiteBaker some respect and let ppl know your using there
free
cms system to power your website.
So.. Up to you...

One thing that could be done is to add a comment to the HTML source which gives credit to websitebaker. That way at least the nerds out there that look at the code know how it was done.
For example:
Code:
<!--

produce websites with ease.

If I am not mistaken, I thought Ryan mentioned in the past that the 'powered by' text should be shown on the admin login and I do not know what he said about the frontend of a 'websitebaker' CMS System...

When my site's up and running I'll add a special section mentionning the CMS I'm using and the author of the template I'm using. Is that OK?

You can do anything you want as long as you never remove a copyright notice from anywhere.
Of course, if a client is asking you to remove it, and is paying for your work, I would be offended if you don't donate some of your profits.

If you have a client that wants it removed, perhaps, you could tell them that it would cost $50. (or Euros) and send that money to WebsiteBaker as compensation. I think that would fair enough.
I have the WebsiteBaker link on the website for my school kids, and don't feel it is inappropriate.
