Moving away from Website Baker
«
on:

Website Baker has served my site very well for the past 2 years but I would really like to simplify things and be able to just have html pages without the need for the backend aspect of Baker. Is there a way I can convert my pages over to all html and get rid of WB?

You can use a tool like wget or HTTrack (
http://www.httrack.com/
) to download the complete page. You may have to fiddle with the settings a little bit to exclude external links.

This WILL convert them to static HTML. You can make the tools act like a browser, so they will save the pages as static HTML. Try HTTrack if you use Windows, it's quite easy to use.
