I'm shocked at what I see and read here on these forums.

I see people with a death-wish to this project and I see others with a death-wish to that first group.

I see unanswered questions and I see requests that are not followed up (the request by PCWacht for one).
I see topics closed without comments or with comments that I feel ashamed about.

I have no clue on what happened and why it happened but this one-time promising project with one, if not the one, of the best OpenSource CMS has now become a parody of itself.

Shame on you all!

Hi mate,

dont be so pesimistic. Yes, some sh*ts happened (some members from the board had a fight, and then some of them left..), and I swore to myself that I want comment that anymore in respect to those good people I know..

But, look from the positive side. Now, wb has a non-profit organisation as background board, and now they are going to recode whole WB. The job has started, and they are still working on that..  Its not an easy job, especially for a small(er) group of people (note that everyone is a volonteer and that everyone has a day job).

so the project is not stoped or on pending, it is going on and on..

if you whish, you can join the team and take a role, and help the whole project.. not just look from the side and give critics, but do nothing about that..

PS: I know that there are a lot of unanswered question, lot of them I asked myslef and still got no answer.. but there are a lot of opened wounds and its hard for some people to talk about that..

cheers

That 100% correct, i can confirm it

And for all who mean, they can run down us, we will going being hard against them.

Next week please have a look on homepage, we will be going to set an announcement. We want no discussion, it's not needed. We want a good cooperation with the teams, to bring the project going on.

I'm shocked at what I see and read here on these forums.

If that is indeed true then it does not sound good at all. I hope the project never dies.

I hope the project never dies.
Longevity of a project depends on projects individuals willing to keep the show on the road.
Therefore I don't think that this project will die a "sudden death".

To many people literally loves the project and the software.

It is a pity.
Again another thread that is "reworked"?:

This seems to be an answer to the question of i2pac in his starting post.

But I'm sure there will be some new "strong" announcements of the responsible guys again.

I feel sorry that this leads to upcoming  "non-interest" by the community.
This project has deserved nothing like this.

Perhaps they came to an agreement.
And have deleted the posts together.

I don't know.

IMO there are some things happening that affront the community again and again:

* Not talking about (technical) decisions; not even telling that there _are_ decisions
* Censoring threads in a non comprehensible way; not talking about the reasons for doing this
* Officially affronting "unwanted" people (with the hope that they go away?) - where it is easy to become unwanted
* Some other things that point into the same direction

Or, to cut a long story short: Too much    personal preference, too less objectivity and professionalism.

Just my point of view. (Wich is, in fact, not objective.)

Small notice: It's known the project server / trac software (whatever) is not working properly and gives "500 Internal Server Error" many times (and gave them out before, too...). Solution is hard, because nearly every problems described on the internet regarding problems with trac / python we went through the last months. SVN is working as before, but it's just damned trac that's not working.
