Greetings,

Currently on my site I have two pages that I want to merge into one. The first page has only a WYSIWYG section and the second has only a news section. I have created a news section on the first page but do not know how to move all of the news posts on the second page to the news section on the first page.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ande

It is possible, but it has to be done in your database.. First, delete new (empty) news page..

Then open phpmyadmin and in sections table, replace page id for the news section to become page id as id of your first page..

cheers

Yea, I saw that I could do that. I was hoping there was a more automated way of doing it :-/

I seem to be asking the wrong questions today, so, maybe I'm not seeing the forest for the trees, but...
Why don't you move the WYSIWYG section to the current news page?

That's brilliant!  Yes, sometimes it's hard to step back from a problem and see the big picture / easy fix huh?

Thanks.

Happy to help out.  You'll find there are a lot of ways to do most things in WB, but luckily, there is usually an easy way.  That's the beauty of Websitebaker.
