.PNG images not displaying in admin

This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. On the admin start page, all the .PNG images aren't displaying, even though I know that they are in the right folder on the webserver.

And yet, when I go to the pages screen, all the icons display correctly.

Anyone have any clue what's causing this? Please see the attached screenshots.

Click on the img object property and look into its recursive path.
Then look if this image is existing in the right directory inside wb cms.
If this is a fresh install it may lack some imgs, so eventually upload them again.
