Hello everyone,

(modified to reflect confusion pointed out by the post below) Thank you to the kind person that corrected me.

I have a nice work order system build over top of website baker and I recently transitioned from server A to server B.

After doing so, I was able to get everything working except one thing; the default template will NOT change.

I will walk you all through every single step I took to make this transition:

1. I followed every step in the instructions for "http://www.websitebaker2.org/topics/moving-from-server-a-to-b.php "
2. Afterwards I was able to login and use my website baker install just as I always did on server B.

When I  go into admin settings and change the template to “All Css”  the only place the template change takes place is when you are logged out completely, you see the “All Css” template.  However once you are logged in, the old template from the server B is what you see, not the “All Css” like you would expect.

With the being said, after changing the template, if you go to pages in the admin control panel, and “view the page”  the page shows up in the proper selected default template.  However, this only sticks after you do the above visit from the pages menu in the admin control panel.

One other weird thing, in the database, table wb_pages, the three pages that are redirect pages still say the name of the old template in the table...  the other pages have nothing in that spot, after the above “view” from admin control panel.

I am not sure what to think about this, as it is a major issue.  What do you think I should do?  Please help.  I am a good PHP programmer; however, this I just do not understand as it should be taken care of by website baker.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond with help.  Your time is appreciated.

The URL to the server B  site is http://shadedpixel.info

Your start situation was wrong to begin with. You say old URL's were like:
Code:
http://www.mydomain.com/myExampleTemplate/pages/dashboard.php

But the template name should never ever show up in URL's! So where did that come from?

Hello,

Thank you for replying so quickly.  You are correct and I was confused.  On server A the template does NOT show in the URL.

However the template on server B is still stuck.  Any ideas?  I will change my first post to correct my concusion.

It sounds like some pages still use the old template (maybe set in the local page settings) that override the default general settings.
