Hello,

Just a suggestion: would it be a nice idea to be able to give credits to modules on AMASP? It would be very Web 2.0 to be able to give a module a recommendation and rate it. It would greatly increase the interactivity on that site too...

Is this a helpfull sugestion?

cheers, Robin.

I think the kernel of this idea has merit and value.  I would go so far as to suggest instead of an anonymous ranking system, to allow members to add their membernames to a list on the pages of the modules that they actually use and recommend.

An alternative or additional idea would be for forum members to list the modules they ACTUALLY USE in their signatures.

I think it would be good to have a user-locked voting system, or user based reviews like they do at Amazon.com, and the reviews must have a date because a review from 3 years ago is irrelevant if the latest version has changed significantly.

Though I personally don't like ratings very much we implemented a rating system for all modules and snippets on AMASP.
Happy voting!
