I am trying to adjust the look of my calendar pages, but it seems that I am not having success with the event.css file. Specifically, I want to change the heading (color, size, & location) and the background colors in the event boxes.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

At the moment you cannot change location of the heading, these are fixed.
(I am planning on a new version where you can change all yourself. like the new bookmarks module.
But time is a problem, I hope to have a something working before the end of the year)

For the Events you have 2 classes: "evtddate" and "evtdtoday"

"evtddate" is all the events that is NOT today
Default background-color not set.

"evtdtoday" is all the events today
Default background-color : #f0f0f0;

Many thanks for your reply. Can I change the color or size of the heading or is everything fixed at the moment?

I am a middle school (ages 13- 14 years), and I am "downsizing" from Moodle, which has been overkill for my purposes. Your Event Calendar is just right for posting assignments, school activities, etc.

I hope to have my "Baker" site up and running in early December, although I suspect I will wait until the start of 2nd semester in January to put it on line for the kiddos.

Thanks again.

I solved the Heading format problem!

I simply used page sections and started with a WYSIWYG section for my heading and then created an event calendar section under it. Super!

Thanks again for a neat module -- it's just the thing for listing assignments for my math classes.
