It appears that WB defaults an install to  the /wb subdirectory upon install.

When one develops the website, it stays inside that subdirectory, and I do not see a way to get it to show.

What I mean is this:

My domain is www.hawkaccounting. com.

I had to put a temporary index.html page up which gets the user to go to:

www.hawkaccounting. com/wb/

which then brings up my website.

My question is, how do I redirect or map the newly developed website to the registered domain?

You probably upload whole zip package into your server. Zip package contains folder wb and change logs files..

Remove all files from the server, and from zip package open dir wb and only those files upload to root on your host.

Removing all the files from the server means that I will be losing the website I spent a couple of days building... not a great option.

There must be another solution, and I am sure that many must have had this happen.

Simple copy all the files an directories within the WB folder, in to the root folder. Then with a text editor as notepad or such edit the config.php. just remove the /wb in the path.

It is also mentioned on the WB help pages.

OEH:

That worked. I looked all over and could not find that reference... perhaps I was using the wrong search term.
