Hi,
the frontend looks nice, but I'm afraid a (usual) WB user without any HTML-knowledge will fail to enter ticker news in the backend. It would be great, if there were just three simple text input fields where to enter the news, and all of the other stuff (HTML code, leading spaces configuration etc.) where only available when clicking on an "options" button.
Regards -instantflorian.

Hi Craxx, Demo Link shows the latest version (not published yet) where the ticker runs also in IE8. But there are still problems with IE8 and the ticker preview in the backend. Need some more time to look at it. BR

Hi Evilein, does your template include the register_frontend_m odfiles things? <?php if(function_exists('register_frontend_modfiles')) { register_frontend_modfiles('css'); register_frontend_modfiles('js'); } ?> BR

Can the text box contain PHP? as i'd love to use this with an external RSS feed to tick along inside it.

Sorry, but can you tell me what to do to see the ticker in the frontend? I've istalled the module and have the backend, but what do I have to insert into my index.php of the template?
Thank you very much!

Is there any posibility to make simpleticker compatible to internet explorer 9?
Or exists any other module to do a ticker? perhaps in jquery admin?
thanks so far michael

If you find a jQuery Ticker of your choice, it will be simple to convert it for use with jQueryAdmin or LibraryAdmin in most cases. But maybe Uthred can fix your problem if you describe it more detailed.

In IE9 the message doesn´t tick, it´s only static. I don´t have a link because the site is only local.
Sorry for my bad english
