i've upgrade from 2.7 to 2.8.1
and now, in settings and in each pages settings, every keywords or description wont save... very handicaping SEO...

Just checked, Sorry i cannot reproduce this issue. Can you pls check your server errorlog. Or enabled error reporting in options.

the same problem just happening on a windows server with Apache 2.2, PHP 5.2.9 & MySQL 5.1.34
it seams to do that only with 2.8.1!
i'll downgrade it to see
on my servers it work properly, but when you "transfert" a WB it does that! and we transfert all our install!
it seams that there is no $_POST var sent... as I can see...
and we can't create a user too, it always says that there is no usergroup selected, but we selected it!

Is it only Description / Keyword that is not saved? Can you still change page content or change the language? Looks either a bad configured server or the server might using a "protection" like Suhosin. no errors in logs, and the errors settings is E_ALL^E_NOTICE
This won't show any notice messages. Allways use E_ALL or E_ALL&E_STRICT for debugging. |

it's not only desc and keywords, it's everything in settings
add or modify users
add or modify groups
etc..
but add a page works.
i've downgrade the faulty one to 2.8.0 and it works.
i've still got a 2.8.1 install that does this problem, i could give access if somebody would want to see ?

Ok, please do so. Please notice, that my remark to write it is a release in moment is not correct. It is a Bug fixed Subversion from 2.8.1 stable.
So i hope nobody want to be going to discuss with me.

I had a problem that I couldn't change description or keywords. All the other settings worked fine. Solved by adding some keywords straightly to database and now I can edit them and the changes does save correctly  |
