Oh yes!?

However - the filemanager works with image preview for me now.
It's a new installation.

But I also installed on older installation and it works too.
So I am curious.  grin

You want to have a preview of the images?

Download the replacement files and replace them in FCK Editor.

Yes, I´ve tested new Ckeditor today too. Very nice, fast and a fantastic build in filemanager. I hope, we will see a wb-version soon.

Any news on that? Tested it yesterday in another project. Speed increase and the new possibilities of the API are really great features of the new generation of CKEditor  wink

The problem is, this filemanager is not free. I think you mean ckfinder. I'm working for a own. Because a user need one for intranet.

@Luisehahne:
CKEditor 3.0 ships with a basic filemanager. Source code is stored in ckeditor/_source/plugins/filebrowser/plugin.js
No special license mentioned, other than the one on CKEditor website.

I use FCKeditor v. 2.82 and WB 2.6.7 on a Windows Vista PC (IE8). When I try to link a PDF file from the media folder I receive a script error on the page. Please can you help me?

Do you always recieve this error when trying to link to a PDF file, or only in some cases? Maybe it's a problm with the file name, e.g. spaces, special characters, very long filenames or sth. in that way.
An there's a newer version of the module (and of WB)  rolleyes - so maybe you sholud update...

Hey all,
I just upgraded to 2.7, and since FCKEditor comes loaded with this version, I noticed that there are now 2 directories in the FCKEditor directory, one called FCKEditor and the WB_CONFIG directory.

So this means there are two styles files, two config files, two FCKEditorarea files, etc.
So naturally, the question is: does one of them override the other?

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

is there already a WB module available for FCKEditor 2.6.5 released on 21. September 2009? Think the latest WB module available is based on FCK v2.6.4.

The latest version includes some security fixes (reading the changelog, it seems to me the issues are related to ASP and ColdFusion only - but who knows wink )

Hi doc,

yes it is, but we have some problems, if hoster set open_basedir, i saw it's already fix by fckeditor, but there are more problems with open_basedir.

Would be very nice, if you check the release, perhaps to do something better in coding.

Well,

tested on WinXP with XAMPP (PHP 5.3) and works as expected. However never run into problems with basedir restriction on my local windows test environment wink Guess a test environment on a Unix/Linux OS would help to detect issues related to file permission etc. more effectively.

Did a quick Xdiff of the files with respect to the previous FCK module and found only a couple of files changed. The module  you linked includes some files not really required (wrappers for .lasso, .pl, .cfm, documentation ...).

So not much more to say on that - sorry.

Doc

P.S.: Never had issues with my WB sites in the WWW (open_basedir & safe_mode on). Seems my hoster (DF) knows how to configure a webserver wink

It seems to me that any customization in the FCKEditor directory (within the main FCKEditor directory in "Modules") has no effect, just change the wb_fckstyles.xml and wb_fckeditorarea.xm l in the WB_Config directory.
Oh and it helps to delete your cache and cookies! grin

Hi,

thanks for the FCEditor update.

But I'm afraid there are some new buttons which will cause some trouble specially for lower skilled users.

1. The "Document properties" button seems to be never active. What's the use?
2. The "New document" button in the first row erases the complete text. If you click on "Save" afterwards, all information is lost.
3. The "Template button" opens a dialogue box in which some templates are listed. But it seems that you have to install some more files or manipulate your own templates to get this working.
4. There are now buttons to build a form. Well, I bet it won't take a long time unless the first user builds a "contact form" with these buttons and will wonder aftewards why this form does not work.

IMHO it would be better to remove this icons from the toolbar again - at least the killer button "New document".

One more question: On the messsage about the update on amasp there is said "Syntaxhighligth2 plugin ready". Where can I find or activate this plugin?

Regards

Open the file /w_config/wb_fckconfig.js and go here and comment out the SyntaxHighlight2

Code:
  FCKConfig.ToolbarSets["WBToolbar"] = [
    ['Source','DocProps','-','NewPage','Preview','-','Templates'],
    ['Cut','Copy','Paste','PasteText','PasteWord','-','Print','SpellCheck'],
    ['FitWindow','ShowBlocks', '-', 'SyntaxHighLight2', '-','About'],
    '/',

The plugin is already added, only the button has to be comment out.

I will be going to test your other problems now and come back

Top2
If you find it to dangerous, you too can it comment out or delete

Top4

Top3
if you have look in /wb_config/wb_fcktemplates.xml you can delete templates or add and style your own

Found something for DocProcs

Quote
In your fckconfig.js set 'FCKConfig.FullPage' to 'true'; and make sure the buttons 'DocProps' is set in your toolbarset.
(This button was greyed out when 'FCKConfig.FullPage' was 'false')

you found the fckconfig.js in this folder /fckeditor/fckeditor/

and here the link you can find more information about fckeditor usage

Thanks for the advice...

I've simplified the toolbar. Less functions - less opportunities to do something wrong wink

please, where can I resize the editor window?
With Argos Theme the new fck 2.9.1 editor window is really small and doesn't fit in argos backend theme. It's about 723px wide, but 900px would be much better! Can't find the right place in config.

thanks
