I'm having problems with inserting images in the latest FCKeditor in WebsiteBaker 2.8 (version 2.6.4.1 Build 23187, according to the About FCKeditor button).
When I click on the Browse Server button, I get the error message: "You don't have permission to access /wb/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/browser.html on this server."
I've seen reference to this problem elsewhere in the forum, but no solutions. I even tried replacing the FCKeditor module with an older copy from a site that's still running WebsiteBaker v. 2.7, but I get the same problem. Permissions are 755 for the folders and 644 for files, which is the same as the site with the older version.
Is there a fix for this?

I do have the same problem. I've done a standard installation, this version of FCKEditor (2.6.4.1 Build 23187) is preinstalled with WB2.8. Changing permissions to 777 don't help either.
Does anybody have a solution for this?

Hi guys,
Pls test following:
rename /modules/fck_editor/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/test.html.org to /modules/fck_editor/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/test.html
May be that you see an error
and start the test. IMPORTANT! After finishing, don't forget to rename back.

well, both solutions did not work. With upgrading FCK, I now have those unwanted buttons again, such as the form buttons and the new document button. Not so much a problem for me, but it will for my client. But worse: the media dir can still not be opened.
Any other solutions?

With v2.9.2 when you select "FLV Media Player" after pressing the browse button for media/file I get the following error: The requested URL /modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/plugins/flvPlayer/undefined was not found on this server. (yes, there is no folder "undefined" ) All other Buttons seem to work well.

Hi, has anybody tried to integrate the upcoming version of the FCKEditor which is now named CKEditor 3.0 into WebsiteBaker yet? As the guys have written CKEditor 3.0 from scratch, the old "bridges" to WebsiteBaker will most likely not work any more. Played around with the "standalone" Beta some days ago. Speed and loading time have definitely improved compared to the 2.x versions of FCKEditor. Also the API has improved. Cool feature is to switch Div containers by double click into the editor view. This could also be a great feature e.g. for WebsiteBaker frontend editing ... Regards Christian CKEditor 3.0.1, is very fast and much more eficient than FCKEditor 2.x There's a prevision for WebsiteBaker to develop a module compatilbe with this version? Or has someone already developed or adapted the WB internal module to work with CKEditor 3.0.1? Share with the community please. Murillo

Thanks to my brillant and extremely helpful webhost the problem of not being able to open the media folder through FCK has been solved. I did get the forbidden page. Now everything is working fine.
This is what he's told me:
This hitting on of our mod_security rules. I've whitelisted these rules for you. Please give Apache a moment to restart, and make sure the script is working as expected. you need rule 1234234 whitelisted on the domain at /wb/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/browser.html
I can imagine other hosts do have other rule numbers, but this might help for others with this problem.

Hmm, to many FCK threads, I'm confused.
I had the same error, but it fixed. In moment i don't know why you have this errors. I will be going to merge the 2 versions.

So please start a new thread with publishing 2.9.3 of fck-editor and ask the moderators to close the old one.
Just my thoughts.

I think, there is a problem with the WB-internal-link-function: It does not work with images. When I click an image and want to make an internal link, the error message "Bitte zuerst einen Text markieren, der verlinkt werden soll!" (Don´t know what stands there in english) appears.
External links on images work without any problems.

Hi Tiesy,
just write some (senseful) text in the "Alternativer Text" field in the image dialogue, then internal links do also work.
