Hi,

has anybody tried to integrate the upcoming version of the FCKEditor which is now named CKEditor 3.0 into WebsiteBaker yet? As the guys have written CKEditor 3.0 from scratch, the old "bridges" to WebsiteBaker will most likely not work any more.

Played around with the "standalone" Beta some days ago. Speed and loading time have definitely improved compared to the 2.x versions of FCKEditor. Also the API has improved. Cool feature is to switch Div containers by double click into the editor view. This could also be a great feature e.g. for WebsiteBaker frontend editing ...

Regards Christian

Hi,

to whoim it may concern - I was just puzzled that in Firefox 3 the context menu of FCKeditor seems no longer to appear on right click. Well, it's not a bug, it's a feature: You have to allow that websites use their own menu.

In Friefox, go to Extras / Configuration / Contents an click on the Button "Advanced" besides the checkbox "Enable JavaScript". Here you have to check the box "allow to disable or modify context menu".

(Not sure if the titles are correct, I#m using the german Firefox: Extras > Einstellungen, Inhalt, JavaScript aktivieren > Erweitert... > "Das Kontextmenü deaktivieren oder ersetzen")

wow, it's fast! on chrome it's instant! on chrome it's as fast as loading HTML.

and ajax! i'd try not only to integrate in a WYSIWYG but create an AJAX WYSIWYG with self reloading save (not the entire page)

I'm working with last version of FCKEditor 2.88. Is there any problem with the CreateDiv toolbar? if i add the option in wb_fckconfig.js ('CreateDiv)' the icon appears, it opens the dialog box but theres is no response. Is it a reported bug? Can WebsiteBaker works with CreateDiv option?

Have suspended my work on the CKEditor integration some month ago so this needs to be done by somebody else.

Normally the guys from FCKEditor do not integrate major changes once they released a RC version. On the FCKEditor website you can find the following quote:

Quote from: FCKEditor website
Even if this release is not yet targeted to production web sites, it's stable enough for it. It's recommended to start integrating it on testing environments, preparing your software for the upcoming final version.
which I fully agree  wink

Hello,

just updated the FCKEditor on our Addons Page:

http://addons.websitebaker.org/pages/modules/wysiwyg-editors.php

The Modul version is now 2.89 the included FCKEditor version is 2.6.4.1.

This Modul also has included the:
- WB Droplets plugin (Thanks to vizmotion)
- FCKEditor Advisory Relation to Links (thanks to Luisehahne)

We strongly recommand to upgrade all FCKEditor to this version as it fixes a security whole:

All right, got it.

I would love if the "Blockquote" Button would be set "on" in the standard wb_config.js

But... otherwise - one need to adjust this file anyway to his needs.

Thanks for upgrading guys.

Hello Developers.

I've recreated the WB-Link Icon.

Please find attached.
Please delete ".png" before inserting into the FCK Plugin.

Great, Dietmar.

I just installed the new FCKe and I see that you guys implemented the Image-Preview
http://www.websitebaker2.org/forum/index.php/topic,13793.msg85111.html#msg85111

This is very cool.

Thanks for changing the "droplet-icon".
Maybe you will find some time to also change the WBModule icon.
(Looks better a little bit).

Kind Regards,

I am using the current version from the modules repository - v. 2.89

It has the functionality as described above.

The filemanager directory has a structure as attached.

@stefek

again, there are no changes between 2.89 and 2.88 and a lot of previous versions too. Filemanager folder was in every version, so the ask should be wich version did you use before.
