Notifications of Updates

I would like to suggest to allow "Notify" i.e. allow subscribing to the Announcements forum so that members recieve announcements of newer versions.
Or
Please let us know, how can we be notified of newer updates ?

You say you cant turn notify on on a board?
For example: http://www.websitebaker2.org/forum/index.php/board,1.0.html
choose NOTIFY and you will be notified.

I tried that before.
But you guys have disabled notifications for that forum i.e. no "Notify" button is there.
