Hi,
thank you for your help. Please have a look at my last post (Update 2), there I've wrote that I solved the problem in the way that I must use my screenname not my acountname in the modul configuration. But I've noticed that the gallery modul is to slow for my usefulness and because of that I will use the "another gallery modul".

But even perhaps thank you for your help.

spawnferkel,

Thanks for posting it was supposed to be your screenname and not your account name. I was having this problem and it was driving me mad. This one thing fixed it.

Perhaps it could be clearer in the actual module? Wink

Hi, I'm using this great module and would like to change the layout of the output. First I want change the position of the Nav-Images from the bottom to the right, like it is made on the first site shown as example in this thread. Second I would like to see on first site of the output a table with more than 1 photo in some rows and columns. Where can I make these changes? In view.php? I think so, but the file ist big, what do I have to change?

Can anyone help or are somwhere example templates to download? That would be perfect! Thanks for help.

Hi, thanks for this great module.

Anyway I would like to ask you if it is possibile to use it for a flickr group instead of a flickr user, could you do that? Wink

Thanks.

Hi there!

I've been trying for days to get this module to work, but what ever I do, I get the following message:

"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /www/110mb.com/m/s/a/l/o/e/n/_/msaloen/htdocs/modules/flickrgallery/view.php on line 150

Warning: The photosetname provided does not exist for this username. Please correct the groupname."

...even though I have double checked both my username and setname.

Any ideas on how I can solve this problem? I'd really, really appreciate it! Smiley

Ps: Here's the link: http://msaloen.110mb.com/pages/photo.php.

I've just installed v1.40 RC2 - which my first try of this excellent idea. I got an API, no problems and I have a Flickr "pro" (paid) account with many sets.

I filled in the API Key and user id, plus a Set name in the Flickr module page, but I get the following message:

Quote
Warning: The photosetname provided does not exist for this username. Please correct the groupname.

Now I know that the user name and set name are both correct. I ran the Execute Rebuild command with no errors. What is the problem? And what is "groupname"?

This promises to be a super cool module, so I really hope I can get it to work, with your kind help Smiley

Thnx.

Like many others, i had some problems using this module.
After a bit of testing with the phpFlickr php-wrapper (see http://www.phpflickr.com) which is used in this module, i found out that you must not use your id, nor your screen name (flickr.com/photos/<yourname>), but your user name.

After taken this (to me less obvious) hurdle i still didn't get any sets.
Then I found out that you have not only have to set your flickr permissions to public, but also to set the flickr safety filter to "safe" instead of "moderate" or "restricted". embarassed

Hope this helps some of you struggling out there!

I just upgraded from WB 2.7.0 to 2.8.0.
I had flickr gallery v 1.1 installed and it didn't work properly. The images weren't showing up.
I downloaded v 1.4RC2 and things look much better.
At first, there was a huge gap from the top of the page to where the first image gallery started.
I fixed this, by changing the CSS for .flickr_set from "clear: both;" to "float: left;"

The one problem I notice is that when I hit save, I get the message

"Although the Flickr Groupname field is not required I recommand you to fill this field."

I don't see Groupname anywhere in the settings.
