Hello there! I'm quite new to WB (even though I've been working with several other CMS's before). This new client of ours has their site done in WB 2.6.7, and now they asked us to make a sort of contact form for their site.

I see that the installation has this Form module installed, and I can create different fields and it's all fine and good until I try to view the page it just displays "No input file specified." So, I'm guessing it has something to do with the module files being corrupted or missing? I'm also having trouble finding documentation for it.

Well, after digging around I found this MPForm module, which I figured would be a better alternative since it seems to be developed and supported more than the old Form module. But for some reason I can't seem to be able to install it via the back-end. It just says "Cannot upload file". Is there a way to FTP the module to the server and then install it?

So, I'm looking for some advice on to how to go about doing this maybe the easiest way. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty somewhat, but I just thought I'd ask you guys first. The contact form is pretty basic, one thing a bit more advanced that comes to mind would be a Date selector, via some kinda calendar popup maybe?

Thank you in advance, I'm looking forward to learning websitebaker, I'm pretty sure the stuff I'm trying to learn now will come in handy in the future.

There used to be an issue when you had "..." in the news post title ... but just searching for "No input file specified" brings up some of the possible solutions.

Anyway, since these old Versions of WB are not supported anymore, please suggest the customer to upgrade the WB installation. That would also mean some more business for you ...

cheers

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yeah, I think I'm going to do just that. Does the latest WB have some sort of form-to-email solution installed straight up? Anyway, thanks, I'm going to let the client know that it is no longer supported, and see what we'll do.

Check the permissions on the /temp and /media and /modules directories. Are they still 777?

Otherwise your installation is corrupt. WB2.7 should have a good working form module, and MP Form should also work fine. No need to upgrade from 2.7 for this. I have lots of 2.7 client sites with perfectly working forms.
