Hello,

I have just moved a client's site from one server to another. Everything is fine. I can log in admin panel and open pages. However, I could not see the FCKEditor. Instead, it shows:

Not Found
The requested document was not found on this server.

I was wondering if this has something to do with configuration.
Did anyone experience the same problem? Do you know what should be the solution for this case?

Thank you very much,
Hieu

http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/admin/admin-tools/fck-editor.php

Before installing this version, pls uninstall the last version from your server. Maybe per FTP to delete the fckeditor folder

Thanks so much for the reply.

Just a quick question: I was using WB 2.7 and it worked fine. Just after changing the server then this happens. So I doubt that it would be becuz of FCK code itself. What do you think about that?

After updating the latest version, it still doesn't work.
I have found the problem but not the solution.

In other WB websites, I can access this file (via browser) modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/fckeditor.html - and this is the file which will be loaded to show FCKEditor.

In this server, I could not access this file, it throws 404 error, even the file is there. This has to be done with some sort of permission, I think... However, this is Windows hosting and I'm completely an iditor when it comes to Windows so can anyone suggest something?

This is pretty urgent so I would appreciate your help so much.

Thank you.

Can you pls check the permissions. Folder are 755, files 644. Do you have access to the server error.log, to see something more details. Is open_basedir enabled?

Dear Dietmar,

Thanks for your kind help. I have tried my best to dig Windows hosting but can't get over the permission thing. So I just ask the support guy to do it for me, and it works now.

Thanks again and sorry for bothering you with this "clumsy" bug.

With warm regards,
Hieu

It dosn't depent on the ASP. I'm useing Win 2008 Server and the FCK is doing very well. Maybe there is something other wrong with your domain controling. I can't help you with setting up IIS because I'm useing Plesk but it happend to me one time I "lost" a domain. Just delete the Domain and reinstall it again. Then delete everything exapt web.config. Copy all files again and delete .htaccess. Worked in my case.
