Hi dbs...
I think I have craked the problem up to the point of the issue is only the footer not moving accross now.
All content is in the right spots, and you had the same idea as I just did... look to the CSS... I found that the
main content just had to be made 700px wide and then adjust the padding. So with this all done, now I am stuck at the footer not moving... hmmm...
I will show you the code in a few minutes, and see what you think so far... Thank you, and your English is better than my German ... Wink

Hi dbs... can I buy you a beer with paypal?
Maybe some of your special sausages?
At first I didn't understand what you meant with the divs not closing...
I made some great changes to the CSS and PHP, and made sure I closed off every div.
Then all of a sudden it all worked 100%. For that I am very gratefull to you for your help...
So please send me a pm with some details on where I can send some $$ to take you to
the pub and have some beer on me, and maybe some chipos after.

Or alternatively, my wife and I will be traveling to Germany in December to visit and look
at your Kolner Dom, so maybe I can buy you a beer then?

THANK YOU..... (But I am sure before the weekend is finished I have some more questions,
as I will be making the slide down box from the top for registering, and some better menu
using menu 2 for the top... Smiley

Erpe... Yes, this is one fantastic project. I love the ease of use for website baker.
Thank you guys for your continued hard work.

I have one extra question if I may...
Has anyone implemented this sliding panel? And if so, what have the problems been when
fist making it work?

Here is part of the code, and I am not sure it looks right even though it comes directly from that tutorial.

Code:
<head>
<title><?php echo WEBSITE_TITLE?> - <?php echo PAGE_TITLE?></title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php if(defined('DEFAULT_CHARSET')) { echo DEFAULT_CHARSET; } else { echo 'utf-8'; }?>" />
<meta name="description" content="<?php page_description(); ?>" />
<meta name="keywords" content="<?php page_keywords(); ?>" />
<link href="<?php echo TEMPLATE_DIR?>/cmw.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" />

<!--[if lte IE 6]>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/pngfix/supersleight-min.js"></script>
<![endif]-->
<script src="js/jquery-1.3.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/slide.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
</head>
<body>

The call for the script doesn't look like it should be for website baker and the directory I have it inside of.

Hi guys, I have just read the forum post by Christian (Doc), and in the guidelines it is not appropriate to ask questions pertaining CSS, HTML, etc.... I am very sorry that I had broken this guideline. I hope there is not a problem that I asked these questions that I did yesterday. I am from an e107 CMS, in which I only used to use a standard template and go with that. I have been adventurous enough to ditch e107 and start fresh using website baker only, and trying my hand at a bit of CSS. I thought this might have been the place I keep all my enquiries relating to me only using my website baker.
I hope I didn't offend anyone. I am not sure if I could ask my next questions in making a sliding panel work with website baker. Please let me know if this steps outside the boundaries. If it can be done, I would naturay make a tutorial of it with lots of screen shots, so that other website bakers can enjoy the baking of something quite nice and modern for their own websites.

Hello.

It's absolutely fine to ask questions regarding CSS/XHTML, but you will need to ask them in the off topic area for there is no area according to them yet.

But I think that this topics should take place in the website baker forum. All of us can benefit from it.  wink

There are no moderators for CSS questions, but I experienced a lot of professional designers in this forum, so I think we can discuss this. Foremost if the questions have to do with appropriate implementation within WebsiteBaker CMS, it's modules, templating.

But you will see that there are also good CSS/XHTML Forums out there in the WWW if no one is able to answer a specific question here. But I am sure, that in most cases you will get answers here.

Kind regards,
Stefek

Stefek,
Thank you for your response, I am very happy to hear that I may ask questions about CSS and other code that I wish to implement in website baker. I enjoy being a baker, and will for the future of website baker as well. THere are many larger scale CMS systems out there such as Drupal, Joomla, e107, Mambo etc... BUT, none of these big boys even measure up to the simplistic approach that we have here with website baker. Simplistic for me means a better user experience, and this is much more important than the flashy bells and whistles you may find on other CMS systems. These other systems seem to be onluy good for the designer and the upscaled admin that enjoy working hard on the backend. Here we have a perfect ballance that lets even the simplest of things be done with ease.
As you can see, I am more than happy with what you have produced here for us to use and enjoy.
