65000 unique visitors in a day and WB handled it without a problem!

We look after the official website for Keith Floyd who sadly passed away Monday night. The website is built using WebsiteBaker and after the news of his death became known, we had 65.000 unique visitors to the website within 24 hours. WebsiteBaker handled it without any problems so it goes to show that even for higher volume websites it works a treat!

It was just hosted on a shared platform with http://www.names.co.uk where we have a reseller account. The bandwidth went way over and the extra bill would have been £500  but when I explained that my client had basically died so couldn't pay they offered to halve it.

Overall very satisfied with Namesco, they are very reliable and have superb support even for the smaller accounts.
