Normaly I dont give away a module that i create for a client, but he is Ok with it, so here it is :
VE Quotes

  • Display a random quote
  • You can set what come before and after the quote (settings)
  • You set up the quotes withing the module admin
  • Each page / section get is own set of quotes and settings
  • Come in English and French

give it a try...

no known issue

Hello,
I gave it a try, but it doesn't work...? XAMPP WIN XP.
After installation and after I made a page of type "VE Quotes" I am forwarded to a inexistend page (404).

However I attatch the german language file.

Looking forwards to this contribution.

Hi, the Link was like:
http://localhost/modules/ve_quotes/quotesadmin.php?section_id=19&page_id=16

(XAMPP)

Now I see that there is something missing in the Link, it should be like:
http://localhost/[MY-WB-INSTALLATION]/modules/ve_quotes/quotesadmin.php?section_id=19&page_id=16

Thanks to Stephek!

The bug was some missing ADMIN_URL call.

i'v added DE.php so now German, English and French

Debugged a "Quote Saved" when saving settings.

now @ 0.7

I think it is more the WB_URL call instead of the ADMIN_URL call.

It still doesn't link correctly....

It should be like:
http://localhost/[MY-WB-INSTALLATION]/modules/ve_quotes/quotesadmin.php?section_id=19&page_id=16
now it is like:
http://localhost/[MY-WB-INSTALLATION]/[ADMIN_URL]/modules/ve_quotes/quotesadmin.php?section_id=19&page_id=16

All right, so I shout:
Could you provide a kind of checkbox in the settings, where can be checked if you want to show all entries (Quotes) or  in a random manner.

This would be very cool.
