Just a tought, I was wondering why even in the latest releases, some modules / methot involve using archaïc web standards like table-base design in the news ?

and why does javascript are still in backend addons and need to be activated, ajax should be activated by default no?

Yes youre right.
And I think, that those options should be accessible via "options" not the "admin tools".
