WebBird:
I know that many people have problems with writing PHP code and so I created the sm2test website for both testing bug reports and to point people at solutions to their problems. That was the extent of work that I wanted to do for WB and SM2.
I have no doubt that many people would have welcomed some sort of generator for sm2, however I had then and continue to have now, absolutely no interest in creating such a generator myself, nor in active consulting for someone else to do so. Development, maintenance or support of such a creature is not in my best interest.
My flippant reply of "knock yourself out" actually meant "I don't want that problem, but if you do then go right ahead and have a good time". Regardless of how many dictionaries may imply that it has negative connotations, email / text posts do not have the ability to convey how a message was written. Obviously using such an English idiom in a forum where the majority of people do not speak English natively was not such a great idea. Too late for that.
After noticing in one of the forums that you mentioned a personal problem with me, I was curious to see what I had written. So I went back and reread it. Sure enough, it was a bit ambiguous with that idiom, and for that reason I sent you the PM yesterday to apologize for such a misunderstanding.
However after continuing to read a few of your messages and look at your website, I can see that I was too hasty. If you are going to continue to slander me in all of your messages and websites, it should be for more than a misunderstanding over an English idiom right?
Your apparent lack of understanding of how the GPL works (i.e. the recent Pacer CMS thread) is disturbing, and your outburst of "So I will withdraw EasyMenu from the WB community"* when the Pacer dev pointed out the facts gave me a good laugh. However old you are, please grow up.
In any case, keep up the good work on EM.
Best regards,
Brodie
