Advice needed

Hi all,

I need some advice from you collegue coders and designers.

For a few days already I'm checking what could be the best option for the following question of a client of us:

This client wants a website in which customers can book artists. These artists must be grouped and besides that placed in alphabetical order (contactlist?)

Besides that this client want a picture + short data and a read more button underneath each other (in alphabetical order too). May be the Portfolio/Catalog/members/mediablog mod? All very nice mods with lots of potential but no grouping with alphabetical order.

With the Form X it's possible to create very nice orderforms. With the above mods you can create very nice overviews, but what I'm missing is the possibility of grouping in alphabetical order (groups and/or artists) in combination with these mods.

In this case I'm flattered with the Yellowpages mod. When there could be a way to create avatars/thumbs in the short overview of mod, this mod could have lots of answers for my question. Unfortunately this mod is still in development.

So therefore my question is if there are any developers/designers who already created these kind of booking sites with WB and if so, which type of (combination) mods they used?

Indeed the Members mod is truely nice and on alphabetical order too. But there I miss the grouping and read more function.

Team mod is indeed a nice one too. Grouping, alphabetical order but no read more function in it. But may be I have to check if I can build that in manually.

if the checkout doesn't apply to your needs just don't use the checkout thing but use formx within the bakery..

Update: After testing it's not what the client's looking for. Besides that the Bakery is build as a shop and not for bookings. Anyway thnq for thinking with me!

My preference is to want this thing fully under WB. So therefore I would like to check the wb mods first and what can be edited on those mods.

After LOTS of testing I came out with the contactlist mod.

The only thing I missed in this mod was an image of every contact in the front view, not only the detailed view.
But just a few seconds ago I managed it to get the job done. See att. (resized image of the original in the detailed view, nice adjusted within the table)

Now I will work this thing further out in order to get all things right.

Again, Thnq for taking the time to help and offer ideas!

My preference is to want this thing fully under WB.

Quite right to keep everything within WB.
With external modules, you can get much but you need a wrapper.
These wrappers may not work well. Or if you click on a link you 'fly out' of the wrapper.

BTW, we use 'familienaam' instead of 'achternaam'

I don't think so. This adjustment was made by myself and I'm not the developer of this great mod so it's not official. So therefore you will have to ask the developer.
