I created a new module based off of the "event" module for organizations that have weekly repeating meetings that they want to publish to the web community. The module has a meeting info entry back end piece and a search/publishing piece. Is anyone interested in a module like this?

I am working on something like that as well (without any luck so far). I want an event module with repeating meetings/trainings that includes a RSVP functionality. So, If a visitor is logged on to the website, he/she can easily RSVP the meeting/training by clicking an 'attend' button. But again, so far I don't have any luck in creating this module..

Here is a URL for the front end. This website is under construction and there is not much data in the database for meetings yet. The back end is a "create, edit, delete" for meetings in the style of the event module. I looked at existing modules, I am pretty sure that the requirements for the front end were different than anything out there and the fields for a meeting record were different. I didn't do internationalizatio n or a configuration options.

This module is geared to a situation where the meetings repeat every week, so the month would not be relevant. Also, the meetings are open to the public without RSVP. Adding the RSVP to the event module is an interesting idea, but the RSVP concept is beyond the scope of this module. If anyone is interested, they can have the code for this module - I'm not sure how it works in terms of posting it. One thing is that the types and cities are currently in a config file - there is no web based configuration.
