This will be a user registration page/section (signup) that will be free from the "default" templates and languages.

this signup form will show a simple signup (username, email, name, language desired) page when visiting user will not be logged on.

When logged, admin will have a array of choice to show between :
  • Profile modification (same as preference) (perfect for a full page)
  • Some profiles infos (Username, name, last log in) (perfect for a section)
  • A redirection to another page (if as a page, would bug as a section)

V 0.3.0 :
only English and French for now...
what work :
  • signup is running perfectly
  • added language to the signup form
  • every text, email included is in the language folder, so you can have a signup and email in your language

what doesn't :
  • very beta, it's supposed to display the account preferences mod when you logged, but for right now it just does nothin'
  • Design is an issue, i'll try to work with templates Wink

Hi, I'm wanting to develop an enhanced profile add-on.  The idea is to get something along the lines of what facebook has where the visitor can setup and modify their profile.  I'm wondering how this one is coming along and if it's something that might serve as a base for what I'm doing.  cool

Sweet, idea man.  This is also something I have been looking to get going.  Let me know if you need/want any help with this.  Even just testing.  After all the help you gave me the the As Baker mod I'd be glad to help you out.

Dear Votre Espace,

I love the idea. However, I dont get it to work that easily.

I FTPed the folder and files to the webserver. Then in advanced I loaded the install file. Now I can add the section Signup, Login & Profile Section to a page, but I cannot modify the content, and I don not get a login box.

Please give me an Idea what to do next.

Kind Regards,

Greetings,
I wanted to try this module out, so I seem to be in the same place. I was able to install the module manually. The page displays but I was hoping for some instructions.

The admin side shows nothing but "This section will show a signup form if the user is unregistered " and the user side shows a registration but also shows:

email-address: Leave this field email-address blank:
username (id): Leave this field name blank:
Full Name: Leave this field full_name blank:

Then below that it shows the same thing I believe for the user.

Username:
Display Name (Full Name):
Email:

Do I edit the page manually?

Your thoughts? Thank you in advance.
