Sorry was waiting to see if anyone would reply to be hoenst bofreo writing a massive story hehehe

Ok here goes:

I copied all my files from the old host to the new host. Keeping them in same structure. I create a database which unfortunately has to have a diff name on my new host. But i know i can change all that in config. I can successfully import all talbes with SQL backup on new host, database fine. I can then login to admin and see and edit all my pages. In fact all admin seem to work fine. However the front end doesnt. My template folder buildme existis as a folder and all files are there, but for some reason when i go to the front end of my website all i get is a tottaly blank page? Backend fine, front end blank?

This is also what i can do fine:
I can upload website baker to the root of my website. I can run the install script and it installs successfully creating tables in my database. I can get hte basic installation working fine. When i try to install a template called buildme i get hte following:
Warning: main(/home/sites/buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/public_html/temp/unzip/info.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sites/buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/public_html/admin/templates/install.php on line 61

I really need to get this working so any help ois really appreciated? I have checked my config file and all seems totally fine?

right ok, this is really odd i have managed to very easily move anotehr website baker site perfectly easily tp my new host following the normal steps. Its the same set up in the folders structure and database so all i can think is it is something to do with either my template or the database configuration, but i cant test the template as when i try to install one of the simple templates i get hte erro that i wrote above???

Bit more testing, managed to install a new template "andreas" one from the addons. And same thing happening? So its surely got to be database related?

The Domain does show a permission fault. Get you permissions straightened out.

Please check with your server administrator. I check you site and get following:

1) http://www.buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/ - file index.html is served
2) http://www.buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/index.php - Database: Access denied for user XXXXXX
3) http://www.buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/testpermissions.php - Error 404 - Page not found

cheers

Yeah i had waited for a while for someone to respond and had to keep on trying to fix it myself. I have totally started again from scratch and now get this :

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'web100-buildme'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/sites/buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/public_html/install/save.php on line 348

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/sites/buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/public_html/install/save.php:348) in /home/sites/buildmeafabwebsite.co.uk/public_html/install/save.php on line 81

What is happening now, this is so annoying i cant get anywhere is it my host that is causing problems?

I have easily moved a wordpress site and also andotehr website baker website within minutes with no probs so why will thsi one not work?

Please help me its driving me mad

Please check with the servera dmin, these kind of errors are not solvable by this kind of remote diagnostic.

MySQL: User might be allowed to login from remote computer but not from localhost.

Hi

I moved several pages from one server to another  and whenever it did not work it was a server issue (ownership, not permissions).
So don't blame website baker for this. I know wb is running very well on several servers.

its on linux, didnt appear anyone could help me on here so raised it with my host who are saying it was a permisions problem but having loads of other probs at moment i think related to DNS as because i was delteing accounts and trying again all time cos there were permission probs so have to wait for DNS to sync will keep you posted but if anyone else has these problems it so far points to DNS and/or permissions, even if you permisions look right my host said they werent wich i find odd!! Hi

Just in case anyone else experiences any of these problems here is what it was:
I think my original problems were a mixture of permissions and DNS and then as i could not get things working I delted the hosting account to start again which deletedd the domain and perpetuated the problems i was having as then the DNS servers got out of syn and i started getting database errors and allsort. If this happens check with your host the permissions on your files and ask if it could be DNS related. I bet it will be. I have to wait for a whole day for DNS to resync my servers for all my problems to be resolved. I still am working on some other small problems as we speak but the major trauma is over  grin

Thanks
