Without "seeing" it will be impossible to "debug" your problem.

Did you check what data is stored in your database?
Are the images there? can you open them directly from a browser?

I thought it was a problem white the save.php file's, but when you asked me about the database a light went up.
When you try to upload files as big as 1920 × 1200 pixels it doesn't give any announcement that the file is to big.
It just leaves a blanc page.
When I scaled the image down to max 800 pixels it went through.

If you are using something like WampServer, the maximum upload size is set to 2Mb (in the php.ini).
If you increase that, it will probably accept the larger images too..

On hosted servers, this limit would probably be set much higher. (> 8 or 10Mb)

Happy that it works for you now.

That's strange, because my limit is 32mb and the picture is less then 1 mb.
However it works when i upload smaller pixel images.

hmm.. another option is the resizer.. It needs enough memory.. that could be a bottleneck too..

Anyway.. for future users..
..Resize your images to reasonable size before uploading.

Hi Ruud,

just a thought:

is it possible to add a random function to the portfolio module?

could be nice, visitors get to know different contents by landing on a portfolio page.

So what do you think, can you make it?

Not that simple..
If you click on a thumbnail "x", the page will reload. (changing the order of the items)
The click will open item "x", but that will be a different one after the reload..

It might be a little confusing.
Great idea for a game though smiley

I have the module installed and it is working fine.

When i create a pagetype of portfolio detail, The page i created shows in the admin with an X on it.

When i try to edit the settings of the portfolio detail page so i can add page title, keyword, and description. The X is removed and now the page becomes visable and messes up the portfolio.

Any ideas?

Hi,

first the X means that this page is hidden which is very important for the portfolio module.

the problem you have i guess is you use a certain wb version that carries the bug after editing a page the settings of visibility always will set to visible instead keep the hidden setup.

So check your wb version and all is fine.

On this page is the explanation: http://portfolio.allwww.nl/pages/help.php
First create a catalog, next you can add detail pages.

The parenttype is Portfolio Catalog, then you can add Portfolio Detail pages.

The detail page is a new page (type "Protfolio Detail"), created as a childpage of the catalog page.
