This is the first CMS I've used.  I have a big ZenCart site and a big auction site (PHP/MySql) so I'm not entirely new to scripts.  I want to set up a website using an easy CMS system rather than all HTML, which I've done in the past.

WebsiteBaker is nice.  I've got a good start on this project.

Now I want an Image Gallery, and I'd like to be able to write a short description for some of the photos.  I'm not sure which Gallery option is best for this.

I did try to install the "standard" Image Gallery, but there are NO instructions on how to install.  Not where to install it, how to install it, or how to get it into the websitebaker.  Apparently those of you who like WB know how to do it, but there REALLY needs to be some documentation with these mods or how do you think your community will grow?

Since the folder structure in the download file had a little "home" image in the root, I thought maybe that meant it should be installed in the root directory of WB.  This seemed a little odd, but I was looking for clues.  It turned out that the "home" image was not a good clue.  So then I had to re-install WB.

I don't think the folder structure in the ZIP file has much to do with the folder structure for WB.  So how do you know where to put things?  I use FTP.  If you are supposed to upload/install from within WB, do you upload the ZIP file or the individual files one by one or as a group or what?

I found instructions on how to UNINSTALL the gallery, which did give me a clue that there's suppose to be a media/.gallery folder and a pages/gallery folder.  But then looking through the forums more I found that the media/.gallery folder doesn't need the "." anymore which is a good thing because WB didn't recognize it with the Dot.

I'm frustrated.  I know how to dig for info, but in this case there doesn't seem to BE any info on how to do a (very simple) installation of a little Mod.

This module (and any module) requires some documentation.  IMO.

I can ask for instructions here, which I'm doing, but I think they should also be added to the ZIP file asap.

I tried to innstall Image Gallery 1.9e using the latest version of WB. I keep getting this error message:
"The file you uploaded is invalid ". The same happens with version 1.9d.

Any ideas?

This doesn't seem to be related to the Image Gallery module - I get the same error when I try to install the Flickr Image Gallery.

Just forget about this - I rebooted my machine and and then the problem disappeared.
