looking for a module
«

Hello,
I am looking for a module but I can't find it. If it is not out there I am thinking of programming it myself. It needs to do the following:
- Render a listing of html code
- The complete listing needs to render according to header, loop (the html code to be repeated), glue (html code in between items) and the footer code.
- For each content item I should be able to set an image plus url which links directly to any url of internal wb page.
- This is almost exactly the same as the news module with the following exceptions: a) no articles but directly linking b) no comments) setting an image/ url for each individual item.
- I looked at similar modules but they are not entirely the same. the catalog module is very buggy and the multipartpage works according to a different concept.
Is there any module like the description above (more or less). Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah i looked at those modules but that is not what i am looking for.
let me try to explain it via an example. take a look at:
http://www.schiphol.nl/Vluchtinfo.htm
(this is just an example)
The content area contains several yellow blocks. I would like to have a module wich can produce the same.
Something similar to the default news module but without the concept of articles. The contentitems (yellow block) should link directly to any url/ or internal wb link

hey erpe,This is definitely better than the other ones. I might use this, but it might be a bit overkill for regular users. the module is using words as ghosts, aliases. also it comes with a lot of options.
Personally I love how simple the news module is. Everyone underrstands this within 2 mins. Maybe it easier to make a copy of this module and strip all the unneccesary stuff like commenting, etc.
Anyways thanks for your help.

I already checked on that one. This is not what i am looking for.
Sorry that i am so picky but i know exactly what i want. But before i start making a new module (or adjust the news module) i wan to make sure that not something similar exsisst.

I solved this by making some changes to the existing news module. See the following thread for more info:
