News module - posts-directory deleted by unknown reason

Hello,
it's the second time I get confronted with this problem on my news-page:
When I click on the link "read more" on any of my news there are only error-messages (can't find the link).
The directory "posts" in the wb/pages/ -directory is empty, all the posts have disappeared.
In the database they are still present, in the backend too. So in the backend I have to open every single post and save it again. Then it is written in the wb/pages/posts-directory again.
The first time I got this problem was after installing a module which was an adaptation of the news-module, it was one of the forum-modules (can't remember which one). Actually, the problem seems to have occured after installing the topics-module which didn't work on my system for unknown reasons.
I ask myself if it could be a problem that different modules (news-modules and adaptations) are using the same posts-directory, so if there is something wrong with one module the whole content of the directory could be deleted...?

Hello,
may be worth while to send Chio (author of the topics) module a PM so he can check this and maybe update the module.
As both modules you tried are adaptions of the original news module distributed with WB, it may be the case that the e.g. the unistall of those modules still points to the old directory /news/posts and removes it. At least this would explain why the pages created by the news module are deleted. Modules which are still beta or in early testing phase should only be tested on a local test environment.
