hi, when I have uploaded Wb 2.7  on my server, how can I install  a new text editor as Tiny or a new version of FCK Editor. WB 2.7 can't upload  zip files from Desktop to server and can't install a zip file from server too.
I tried and I got the message: "Cannot upload the file" or sth similar. I copy with a ftp client directly the directories on the server but the new editor version is not recognized in the options

Cheers

The editors you can use are only the ones available as modules.
They are specially modified (for WB) versions of the originals.

The available editors are listed here: http://addons.websitebaker.org/pages/modules/wysiwyg-editors.php
You could also have a look around on the AMASP site: http://www.websitebakers.com/

Hello

thats not true. This works in all WB Versions. If you got problems with this it has nothing to do with WB. It has to do with the zip file. Some OS unzip and rezip files wrong. If you use the zip files as they are installing works in WB without issues.

Another possible issue could be the server settings of your hoster. The Editors are very large files and if your server has limitations about upload size or upload time install will also fail due to timeouts from the server.

To add a new WYSIWYG Editor simply install it as modul and choose the new editor in the options as default Editor.

To upgrade the FCKEditor in WB 2.7 unzip the latest version from addons page and overwrite the files on your server with ftp.

hi, I uploaded the directory of FCKedit 2.88 in Modul on my server. I have overwritten the old directory.
I edit a page and display the version:

Code:
Version
2.6.4
Build 21629

It's not the version 2.88 but an old one.

Tiny directory is also installed but not displayed in the options
