Maybe it is better to move the checkbox into the first position, followed by "edit", "info" and the drop-symbol?
What do you think?

Yes, this was my first idea. Makes more sense.

I am still waiting (hoping) for translations, but it seems there is nothing to come, so I am going to release the Droplets module as is today. Look at AMASP later.

Please note: Due to constant problems accessing this forum, I am not able to support my modules the way I'd like to, so I am forced to find another way. I am going to replace my old phpBB Forum with a new one, so I can support my modules as good as I can on my own homepage. I am very sorry that I am forced to this step, but this is beyond my control.

Thanks to dbs for the announcement. Wink

There's a known issue in this version: The tooltip of the "duplicate droplet" feature is the same as on the info icon. Will be fixed in the next version. I think this is a minor issue. Wink

Hm, there's nothing planned at the moment. But I can link this post on AMASP, so someone who's interested in Norwegian language file can load the update from here.

hi,

i have a WB 2.8.1 and with droplet 1.0.2
i tried to update to droplet 1.51 from here http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/droplets/module-wb2.8.php
i downloadd it go to extensions select the zip and install
he say sucessfully updated, then i looked into admin --> droplets the same old list of droplets
i go back to extensions check the version still 1.0.2
tried update again, tried manually call update.php...
still 1.0.2
anybody got an idea.

rights on module folder 777 rights on droplet 755 rights on files 644
i changed there nothing this is since installing wb, i think.

[EDIT]  Solved it by my own
i tried the hard way, upload files via ftp, then call update.php
now i have the new droplet version including the import buttons etc.

but this is a way i feel unsecure, but this time it works

If anyone can reproduce this error, I'd appreciate to get backend access to take a look and analyze.

i have this also tried yesterday (after upgrade from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2).
wb says upgrade is ok, but nothing was changed. droplets 1.03 before and after.
 ftp and than upgrade was the solution.

####################google translation##########################

The statement of dbs, I can attest.
Update at 1:51 droplets WB 2.8.1> ok
Update at 1:51 droplets WB 2.9 dev> ok
Update at 1:51 droplets WB 2.8.2 RC1> not ok

To run on modules / Advanced install respectively upgrade.php has no effect. An uninstall and reinstall the original Droplets Droplets 1:51 works.

Maybe the rabbit is in the 2.8.2 RC1 pepper.

Hmm... I think the problem is caused by WB because it cannot handle version numbers with more than one dot. (Like 1.0.2) I don't think there's a way for me to get around this problem. This was the reason why Droplets 1.51 isn't 1.5.1. Wink

Hi,

i've a little problem with a Droplet i use...

Name: Pagination

Code:
<?php // color for code
$page_id PAGE_ID;
$pr " ";
$ne " ";
if (
$page_id !== 0) {

ob_start();

show_menu2(0,SM2_ROOT,SM2_ALL,SM2_ALL,',[url]','','','','','');

$allpages explode(','ob_get_contents());

ob_end_clean();

ob_start();

show_menu2(0,SM2_ROOT,SM2_ALL,SM2_ALL,',[page_id]','','','','','');

$allpageids explode(','ob_get_contents());

ob_end_clean();

$pos array_search($page_id$allpageids);
    if (
$pos 1) {

$prev$allpages[$pos 1];
    } else {

$prev $allpages[count($allpages)-1];
    }

$pr '<a title="Go to the previous page" href="'.$prev.'"> &lt;&lt;Previos  </a>';

ob_start();

show_menu2(0,SM2_ROOT,SM2_ALL,SM2_ALL,',[url]','','','','','');

$allpages explode(','ob_get_contents());

ob_end_clean();

ob_start();

show_menu2(0,SM2_ROOT,SM2_ALL,SM2_ALL,',[page_id]','','','','','');

$allpageids explode(','ob_get_contents());

ob_end_clean();

$pos array_search($page_id$allpageids);
        if (
$pos count($allpageids) - 1) {

$next $allpages[$pos 1];
        } else {

$next $allpages[1];
        }

$ne '<a title="Go to the next page" href="'.$next.'">  Next&gt;&gt; </a>';
}

$info show_menu2(0SM2_CURRSM2_STARTSM2_ALL|SM2_BUFFER'[if(class==menu-current){[level] [sib] [sibCount] [parent]}]''''''');
list(
$nLevel$nSib$nSibCount$nParent) = explode(' '$info);
if (
$nLevel 0) {

$lev $nLevel 1;

$par show_menu2(0SM2_ROOTSM2_CURRSM2_CRUMB|SM2_BUFFER"[if(level==$lev){[a][menu_title]</a>}]"'''''');
}
else

$par '';

return
$pr.$par.$ne;

I've some hidden Pages not set to hidden in the page options (for some reasons i work with a hidden menu not with the setting "hidden")

But WHY i dont get this pages in the pagination running....while the pages are set to public...is there a pagination that works with the existing pagetree that are not depending on showmenu2  ??

or is there a better chance to get a pagaination without show the page in a menu on the website?

regards martin

Try ALL SM2_ALLMENU instead of 0 in the show_menu2 call.
Your hidden menu got another ID I guess wink

I have the same problem. The upgrade updates the database, but doesn't unzip any of the files in the module zip file.

If I modify the 1.51 info file to...

Code:

// $Id: info.php 1203 2009-11-30 13:45:26Z Luisehahne $

/*
* @version 1.5.1
* @author Ruud Eisinga (Ruud) John (PCWacht)
* @date June 2009
*
* droplets are small codeblocks that are called from anywhere in the template.
* To call a droplet just use [[dropletname]]. optional parameters for a droplet can be used like [[dropletname?parameter=value&parameter2=value]]
*/

$module_directory = 'droplets';
$module_name = 'Droplets';
$module_function = 'tool';
$module_version = '1.51';
$module_platform = '2.8.x';
$module_author = 'Ruud and pcwacht';
$module_license = 'GNU General Public License';
$module_description = 'This tool allows you to manage your local Droplets.';

$module_home = 'http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/droplets/about-droplets.php';
$module_guid = '9F2AC2DF-C3E1-4E15-BA4C-2A86E37FE6E5';

Then the info.php file gets updated, and a few of the new files get updated, but not everything gets replaced - I think there must be a problem with the unzipping of the module files?

I could only get it to install by deleting everything (except the info.php file) from the droplets module folder and then installing the new version.

This is a known problem with version numbers in WB. It's not a problem with the droplets module. To upgrade, upload all files via FTP.

Edit: BTW: The current version of droplets IS 1.51, NOT 1.5.1. (For exactly that reason - problem with version numbers in WB.) Where did you get that version?!?

Download the current version here: http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/droplets/module-wb2.8.php
