HI,

Can anyone tell me what php files I find the code relating to the layout of an Image Gallery (Standard Module v.1.9e) for Image size, Thumb Image size, Header, Loop, Footer, Image Header, Image Footer etc?

I've changed the layout to how I need it but have to change it manually every time I create a new gallery.

It would be great if the fields were automatically populated with my code which I guess I can do by changing the master Image Gallery php files.

Trouble is I just can't find it! Can anyone advise?

Many thanks

Hello,
take a look at the upgrade.
There you can use the same settings in every new Gallery.

Thanks Stefek,

I'm a little nervous of doing this on a live site. Have you experience of upgrading? Do I have to un-install first and will I then loose all the images already uploaded?

I might try it on a test site but the new version doesn't seem finished yet so I'd be happier to change the core files for this client.

Thank again

I can not grant any success doing it, but Katerchen wrote:

All modifications have been done in a backward-compatible way. You should be able to install this module over a running version v1.8 of the gallery and won't notice a difference in the frontend unless you use one of the new functions.

hi  i've tryed it once on my live-site.... it works for me!
if you don't use his optional functions you've got the same function like the old module!

just short info....the upgrade nr. 4 i take! and i've no many pics but this shouldn't matter...
while the upgrade (with vers. 4) i've got some short messages in the backend befor the submit "sucessfully installed" came...but this doesn't matter, too
