Heya bakers!

I have a language issue. I duplicated my site so i can use another language in /subfolder/. When i try to change default language at admin, it changes ok but nothing happens on frontend... To be clear, my search strings, login text´s are still in originall language they doesnt change. But if i change settings in my own settings, things do change!

Templates index page has all the needed code, i checked and it has to be because "my own settings" works ok!

Any ideas?

Are these "Option Texts" maybe harcoded into the template or not available in your languagefile?

cheers

Code:
<?php echo $TEXT['WELCOME_BACK']; ?>,<br /> <span class="username"><?php echo $admin->get_display_name(); ?></span> )<br />
                            <strong><?php echo $TEXT['OPTION']; ?></strong><br />
                            <a href="<?php echo LOGOUT_URL?>"><?php echo $MENU['LOGOUT']; ?></a>,<br />
                            <a href="<?php echo PREFERENCES_URL?>"><?php echo $MENU['PREFERENCES']; ?></a>

Not hard coded. And like i said, if i change settings just for me, everything works like they sould work. I just cant change default language in admin.

They are linked to the set language. At the moment I have to admit, I don't know if to the page language or the default language. I would suspect (or even hope) to the page language.

Try setting the pagelanguage and see how the loginbox behaves.

cheers
