Add users without email-adress

Hi,
this topic has been posted several times but there wasn't posted any solution to add new users without having to fill out an email-adress. Is there a simple way to switch off (within the code) the automatic checking of if there has been entered an email adress?
It's because for my (and maybe many others) needs it's not necessary to have this field set to obligatory - and it's even worse: When adding 20 or 30 new users I actually have to always enter another imaginary email-adress which is very stressful.

ok, just commented out the part to check if email already exists in /admin/users/add.php
hope there won't be any other problems now
