Installing on shared hosting

Hi everyone,

I tried installing web site baker 2.7 on to my web space, but it does not seem to be working. Actually, I do my hosting on a shared hosting provider and thus they add my username (visitk) as a prefix to any mysql database I make.

I made a directory on the public_html folder called wb and uploaded the complete package there. After that I went to http://mydomain/wb/install/index.php and filled in the necessary details, but when I click on the install web site baker, I get the following error:

Hello,

1.) please clear all browser cache and cookies before installing
2.) as the error message says you us wrong database parameters (databasname, Databaseuser, databasepassword)
3.) the prefix your hoster gives you is included in the databasename, the prefix you fill out in the install form is an additional prefix you can give for the tables and not for the database

Host name: localhost
Username: useraccountname_use r
Database name: useraccountname_wb
Table prefix: useraccountname_
